Do Americans Say "Wave Goodbye"?

We say "wave goodbye" if we actually want someone to physically wave, but we also say "wave goodbye" when something is disappearing. Like "wave goodbye to high bank fees".

I think we use "say goodbye to grandma" more often though.

my kids say "Later Bitch" to their Grandma..
and they greet her with "Sup Hoe?"

not sure if it is just a local custom or all of the USA use those terms though..
