Gallery Daemon is much better imo, cause it offers mass gallery making, make good quality thumbs, not blurred ones like arylia.
The advantage of arylia is that it can use zips from memberarea with password protection.
For tgps when u need a lot of gals made fast i think best option would be gallery daemon
