Given only those 2 choices, I would choose the Porsche on both accounts. I personally just do not like the way the BMW line of cars "sit". They may be "The Ultimate Driving Machine", but if I can't get comfortable in it what's the point?

ewww how can you compare a 911 to a 500 series??? thats like comparing a ferrari with a hummer.
i would personally do what im doing. get on the m3 waiting list. if you really want a porsche, get a 911. the boxster is slow. even the s version. if you want a 4 door get the 540. since you live in canada i would buy a 330ix. its awd, 4 door and has some hp 233 and its 40k full loaded. your price range is from 35k to 75k?

a friend of mine bought a 911 built 86 20km driven for about 2k$ LOL
the garndma of a doctor didnt knwo that it was worth way more
but they dont have moeny problems anyway
that car is crazy
although I wouldnt buy any POrsch Boxster because of 2 reasons
1) looks ugly
2) is a car for guys who want to show what they have although they dont have

You can't compare the BMW to a Porche. They are two different cars.
My BMW is comfortable as hell but handles like a slug compared to the Porche.
