I hate that shakey, give you a headache, cant see shit kind of camera work. And as far as I can tell the whole movie is filmed like that.

The movie is not about aliens or the attack... its about those people and their escape from NY. Its a great flick.

Note: I went with 8 ppl and none felt sick or got a headache. I heard some ppl were feeling dizzy from the shaking; I advise some dramamine if youre one of those people.

Great Flick. I caught it in the back of a stadium theater - and I think that's the best way to take it in.

As stated in other Cloverfield threads, I really enjoyed the movie.
I liked not seeing a whole lot of the monster. It left more to the imagination, which, unfortunately seems to be lacking with moviegoers these days.

It didn't find the shaky cam too annoying as it seemed to serve a purpose.

When there is NO action, the shaky camera drives you fucking crazy. You feel like puking.

but when everyone is running and there is stuff going on, you don't even realize the shaky cam

Watched it last night, I was speechless. Some parts of the movie were good some were bad. Overall, the movie is different being that it's in first person. very intense, does leave room for a sequel.
