Just bought my parents a new puppy for Xmas. They've not had a dog in 17 years. The emails from my mother these days are longer than they've ever been as she tells me all about what the puppy is doing.
Makes me want another one, but I think the dog I have now wouldn't be to happy with that.

That's sweet. We bought my mom a great dane puppy for Christmas, and the older dane wasn't too happy either. The pup (another male) gets onto tuckers bed, chews on his tail and generally bugs the crap out of him, then when they are all tired out they fall asleep together in a ball. I think at the end of the day the old guy prefers it to being alone when my mom goes to work.Comment

I have a couple of King Charles Spaniels they weigh about 10lb and they are great fun. I take them for walks every day, on the beach in the park and get to meet some amazing women who just love to come and pet them.
Take it from me if you want to meet cute babes, having small fluffy dogs is a great first step
