The actual hotel rooms were pretty good as well, and I really liked n9ne restaurant.

What I really didn't like though was the club atmosphere of the show floor. The constant beat in the background and flashing lights (during the first 2 days). Having to go up and down stairs was a bit of a hassle considering the actual floors were very small.

In all honesty, I think dropping the badge price is really a must at this point as the return is really dimnishing from the actual show floor.

I agree ... I liked the change up but the floor was a bit dark and loud. I found it hard to hold a conversation and i couldn't really scan the room to find people i wanted to talk to. I did most of my networking at the center bar. the other issue was with the private vip rooms as booths. You couldn't tell who was who from the hall way side and when you walked in it always looked like a private meeting you didn't want to interrupt. If i knew what company it was i would have felt much better about just walking in. The ticket price is a bit high and i would be inclined to bring more people with me if it was a bit less (models) .. overall i gave it a 7 for a first shot at a new format that's not bad.
