you ever see the clip of him where he comes out on stage in brazil..and is so pumped up he knees himself in the head and gets knocked out in front of like 50,000 people?
I'm kind of back and forth with him. It always seems to me like he's trying to fight the buffed up rocker stereotype by trying to super smart and deep. Most of the time is just feels forced and stupid.
I actually have a VHS of a comedy/spoken word show he did years ago. It's priceless. He's been through a lot and I really like the guy. Like the band to ;o)
I read his books years ago and really liked them---a bit warped and twisted which is what kept me interested:-)

I love Rollins. Several years ago when I was writing for a music magazine I interviewed him. I've met a lot of musicians and he was one of the coolest, most down to earth I have met. If you get a chance read is book "get in the van." It is all about his years with Black Flagg and is very interesting.
