Do you think it matters if a page is longer with more content and less pages, or if it is a shorter page, less content on each page and spread across more pages?
Longer pages or more pages?

Some long (by that i mean, every thing that IS, is on *some* long), but, THEN, a name (and a link) for *everything* -- on some shorter page(s) --

Has anyone ever done testing to see how long a member attention span is when it comes to clicking links? Meaning that a surfer gets board (or more turned on) by clicking at least X amount of times?Comment

I know anytime I add pages between the surfer and a signup page less and less people get there. No idea on other types of sites.Originally posted by DirtyWhiteBoyYou think?

I think 300-500 words of text per page is normal
I remember reading on one of the SE boards about a girl that counted the words on the top SE results and I think that was more or less the length of the text on their pages (please correct me if I'm wrong)Comment

Or even a "sticky" type of site (some blogs) I would use more pages.Originally posted by baddogokay, guess I misunderstood the question. Are we talking about a site for SEO purposes, or a tour?Comment

This is where I'm picturing his question in relation to the inside/memberarea of a site.Originally posted by DirtyWhiteBoy...see how long a member attention span is...
If that is the case, still more is better imo, to give them a feel of a deeper more content laden site. However, don't make it tough to navigate by any means.
However, bottom line is, get surfer to the hot spantastic material as fast as possible, don't jerk them around, let them do that themselves.

i would go for less pages...
the average surfer is too lazy to click through page2, page3...
i would say one first page (not too long) and an "archive" page...Comment

I would say more pages gives the impression of a more comprehensive site, but make sure you give them shortcuts to the goods (join page) everywhere you can.email: [email protected]Comment

I think 4 models to a page is great...make the site "deep" so the surfer knows there is a lot there.
Just my opinion.Comment

lol, paysite - one pageOriginally posted by DirtyWhiteBoyWow, what a mix of answers.
I should have been more clear, I was talking about a paysite tour. I have always done 3 - 4 pages in the past but now am thinking if it would be better to do less but have longer pages with more girls per page.Comment
