    Is it legal?

I just wanna know if its legal?

i am a webmaster but also im a coder and i was wondering if its legal to write a script that would cloack my gallery for the tgp and gallery owners, bassically it would display a properly designed gallery to all the tgp owners but when a surfer hit it would just redirect them?

i can do but is it legal. it somewhat decieves the tgp owners?

Hi, good idea, but it will never work. You couldn't possibly know what IP address the TGP owner is coming from. They often visit their galleries using different IP's and different domains. There are scripts which detect the changes as well.

Plus, it would take 3 seconds for a bunch of surfers to complain, and "poof" your gallery and domain are blacklisted.

Good idea, but the execution is close to impossible.

          Yea, hey genius

TGP owners can easily switch their browsers to a proxy, even if you knew what their real ip was...you'd get busted like a kid at fat-camp trying to sneak in a box of Butterfingers

I officially declare this: cheaters thread!

            -----------------------------------------
THE ART OF FUCKING THE FUCKERS - VOLUME 1
            ------------- by LD ---------------------

This could be most useful for those webmasters who get listed in places that they don't want to be listed. For example, a webmaster wakes up one morning to find thousands of visitors coming from isteallinksfromothersites.com

The webmaster could then write allow, deny into the htaccess file denying all traffic from isteallinksfromothersites.com

So a pissed off surfer emails the tgp owner, the tgp owner checks out the gallery and it works... because he's not coming from the banned domain, rather from his email inbox.

The above would give an error 403 for the surfers coming from isteallinksfromothersites.com, so the webmaster could then specify the htaccess file to send all error 403s to a page full of per click advertisements. When a webmaster is getting listed in some places that they don't want to be then they can see upwards of 20,000 unwanted visitors sent to a page full of per click ads, that is significant for earning upwards of $450 per day (assuming error 403 is a page with blind linked thumbs with a sponsor paying $0.03 per click). Assuming this remains constant it edges on $165,000 per year from unwanted traffic - although this WON'T remain constant.

I'm not going to post the htaccess to do this here because it can be used to cheat honest tgps - and there is no way that I'm going to show people how to cheat. It is a nasty trick and should only ever be used to redirect those who blatantly steal links. There are tgps out there who are well known for it and those are the ones that should be written into the htaccess.

On a side note, if the webmaster of the tgp with the stolen links checks out the gallery from surfing into their tgp and clicking the link from there then they too will get an error 403, though that is not very likely that they will actually physically surf on in to take a look from their own site.

In general its not a good idea to screw people over. Redirects to sites that arent what they claim to be just piss people off and you can be sure they'll remember NOT to return to anything associated with what you do.

"THE ART OF FUCKING THE FUCKERS"

In other words, me fucking back the people who have already fucked me. Also known as "an eye for an eye".

BBS traffic is shitrank. Those people are professional free loaders and are exactly the same type of people who are using the password sites and using credit card generators. You'd be surprised how much these type of surfers know about the industry, how it works, etc - they deserve to be fucked or even have their computers crashed. Let those fucks blacklist me on their BBS sites, I'd be as happy about that as any other webmaster would be.

I know one of the bigger TGP's has a script that redirects if you let him know your getting a bunch of hit's from TGP's that your not listed with. If you have a page listed with just this one big guy and your getting 1000's of hit's from another TGP, he'll give you a little java script to put on your page.
The B/W cost just from the hit's this guy sends you is more than enough for me. Beside that someone is stealing. Fuck'em

                      xxxpit,

I'd like nothing better than to be blacklisted at every BBS, password traders forum and cheating tgp out there. It would save a lot of hassle.

Its a crime punishable by lifetime banishment and blacklisting...
Don't give anyone that shit about redirecting bad traffic. What, like I really give a shit if I'm blacklisted at some Indian TGP? I'd be glad.

You wont last long if you pull this stunt..
Take a look at screwthescrewers.com then take a look at who owns that site. Then think again about what you just said.

To redirect ppl by there OS lang. is a nice way to avoid that shit traffic to eat your bandwidth, mostly i only give visitors with the operation systen language EN or EN-US access to the page with my AP banners, SV to my Swedish sponsors DK to Dannish sponsors and so on.
