I would rather pay more taxes than have less civil liberties any day. But getting both would be nice. Its all up to what you want to do. Make money and pay higher taxes or have the goverment say you cant make that money and still pay higher taxes. Have it which ever way you want.

It would have been more accurate if I'd said "maintain civil liberties". I'm quite happy with the way things are. I could go either way on something like legality of weed. Whatever. Smoking in public places? States can decide. Fine with me.
