Here is a list of people I like reading threads they start:

CDSmith
JimtheFiend (except when he is bitching about Headless)
SonofSam
BadDog (When he is not posting up the nose shots with women posing with him just to be nice.)
JFK
RocHard
RedShoe
And several others, sorry to the rest, these were the first that came to mind.

Threads I won't read based on user name. Anything by:
Headless (boring Juicy wanna be spamtastic crap most of the time)
The many faces of that AZN guy
Lensman
Kmanrocks (unless it is a true drama thread)
Juicy D (when he is just posting stupid shit because he is bored)
Anyone one who titles a thread "Press Release" and then speaks of themself in the third person. Example, "For immeditate release. Hue G. Pness, the founder of hahahaha.com said this is our best product ever...."
And few more that I can't think of right now.

Anyway I am drunk, so flame away or add to the list.

I rarely start threads anyway. But you always have some neat tricks up your hat, or some insight into something interesting that make your threads cool to read. Just don't start posting contantly to promote a boring and mundane web radio show or you will land in my second list. I know, you are shaking in fear. HAHA

people that I will often read their threads just based on their username

* Franck - i like that guy, wether he's bitching about sth or just saying he goes to the casino, threads started by him turn out funny or contain semi-fake drama
* bdjuf - I like to see all the new toys he buys or reading the teenage questions like "should i fuck my friends ex-gf?" etc
* Andrej NDC - he's quite succesfull, so i read what he has to say, and also he likes me, so I like him too ;)
* mrthumbs - whether its about business or calling someone out, he usually is right
* Rhesus - my best friend in this biz, so even if i dont agree sometimes with what he posts, i tend to read it
* quiet - starts interesting threads, so I read them unless they are about relationships problems
* quantum-x - also a friend and I enjoy seeing his photography
* punkworld - i like and admire his anti-meterialistic attitude

oh and theres LOTS of other people and since I have 26k posts here, i usually must read their threads too, i just posted those who dont make 5 new threads each day

I don't use ICQ anymore.

i wasn't always a good poster, there were some sig whore days in my past. Now I try and make sense and be part of the conversation rather than skip through as many threads as I can just posting nonsense.

I only read sleazy threads that are ambushes. He was on my no read list before that. Especially when he was all on that elite webmaster kick. Yawn. These days I read the interviews but ignore all his other threads. At least he finally found a message board niche that is interesting

Shoot I never even notice who starts a thread. I just look for a cool title and then read it if looks good.

chase always has something real to say
chio usually only starts a thread if it's something like new movie or news

my favorite thread are when people talk about biz in general, why we do this, how we do this, that sort of jazz.
