Sure does, but I don't get it. A 1024x1024 pic at 300 dpi is going to have at least 600KB, if heavily compressed/optimized for web. It will have around 1.0 to 1.4 MB as a normal JPG. What are they doing with these pics on a screen that can't display better than 72 dpi anyway, if even??
Same goes fro movies, a 720x576 uncompressed avi or even Quicktime is almost something you'd want for web-tv. The clip is going to be massive in size, even for our low-life DSL in the USA, not to mention for a cell connection that only gets a little better download speed than a 56k modem.
