It is a good movie, but not spectacular.
Shows the wheels of greed and corruption in full motion , as well as all the background politics of the CIA , USA and Arab countries.I know that Asspimple is stoopid ... As he says, it is a FACT !

The day after it opened they had Bob Baer (actual CIA agent Clooney's character is based on) on NPR and some of his comments interested me enough to go see it... I bought the book about a week later and liked that a bit better... Movies not bad though...Comment

I thought it was pretty damn good if you enjoy long drama-ish type movies. There isn't too much fast paced action, but there is a lot of well thought out story and good character development/plot. As someone said earlier it shows a lot of the consequences of greed, power struggles, and the human side of things.-uno

Personally I was a little disappointed because I had expected more. The story itself started in a quite interesting way but quickly seemed to lose itself by trying to touch on too many subjects and portray the characters. In the end, neither the story nor the characters seemed very well developed but that's just one opinion. Many others found the movie to be fantastic.Kroy

The story was great but they weren't able to keep it focused.
Still, it's really worth seeing. It explains a lot about the United Arab Emirates, the US and the Oil business in general. It's amazing that they let this story get made.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
