its supposed to show up once , then you click to "continue to GFY" , and you dont see the ad again for another 6 hours.
How can that be so annoying , that ad was designed specifically not to annoy users!

it wouldnt even let me onto gfy just kept redisplaying the same ad over and over. if i didnt have the inside on bookmark i wouldnt have been able to get in..

it seems that not matter what you advertise here, you will always get people whinning about it! there have been skins, flash ads and everything else here so we wanted to try something new...so we did! personally, i have problem when i go to gfy's main page nor does it log me off and i use firefox. also, it's one thing do dislike the ad and complain about it, that's fine everybody could express their own opinions, but to tell us to remove the ad that is very much exagerated!Bastone

NOT because of the flash ad. In fact, I never even take a look at programs just because they skin gfy or plaster it with ads. I take a look (and sign up) when I see a thread about the program, explaining its "strong points"...
Do I think the ad should go? Personnaly I think it should go(*) or atleast be fixed. It's easy. just add some code to detect the user is visiting gfy.com or gofuckyourself.com and then redirect them to the right page.

As for the logoff thing, if you NEVER use gfy.com (but rather use the full domain, gofuckyourself.com), and you hit the index page, you are redirected to gfy.com...and since the session variables arent the same on both domain, if you never use GFY.com well you aren't logged in, and all the threads you clicked already etc.. aren't highlighted anymore...the ONLY thing I ask is to redirect to www.gofuckyourself.com and not to www.gfy.com!...mmm my sig was too big... no more cool animation

I was getting logged off, with firefox... in fact your browser has NOTHING to do with that...Its was just a matter of redirecting to the bad domain... (gfy.com instead of gofuckyourself.com)...again.. if you are logged in on gfy.com, you WONT get logged off...

It was created with a deep concern for the surfers of this board, me and eric planned it out this way because we believed it would be more efficient and less bothersome than previous ads. Obviously everytime something new comes up , there are technical difficulties , people are not supposed to get logged off or get the ad everytime , those should be fixed very soon , and all upcoming ads similar to this one will not have those issues.
Different people work on different platforms , with different settings , it is hard to test properly ahead of time!
If you are having issues with it , we sincerely apologize and want you to know that we will be working with adult.com to fix up any glitches !
