This seems to be a debate among some webmasters that I trade with. Can someone please compare the advantages and disadvantages to both approaches?
Open Trades In A New Browser Window Or Not?

A trade that opens in a new window is far more likely to be closed by the surfer.
If you're after quality trades, keep trades opening in the same browser window. The surfer will continue clicking on the trade's site and (in theory) the trade will send more productive traffic back to you in return. However with the huge variety of trading scripts available today, it's hard to say with any certainty that all scripts trade based upon productivity.. some could deal with shear in hits, and not take into account the number of times each hit clicked.
If you're after quantitative trades, let them open in a new browser window. As soon as the surfer realizes what the trade is, he'll likely close it and continue clicking on your site. This boosts up the number of hits you send to your trades, but limits the productivity of your traffic.
