It happens every now and then but its certainly not regular from any specific sponsors. Do your bounces keep happening from the same sponsors or its random?

i got one check returned because the cashing costs were higher then the amount on the check ($100)...

So far I have been lucky that the webcam sites I am on checks have cleared for streamate and imlive. cams & my website are a sends me a wire transfer.

so maybe you can cut down the checks you receive so that way if you run into a problem it's easier to track down.

You are being nice, writting bad checks is illegal and the writer can end up in trouble if you see fit. Specially if it is the same company. Also many states have assorted bad check rules that apply.

Don't wire do just as well for accounting purposes? Not saying you should all give up checks if you're happy with that, I just don't get why anyone would still want all the work with collecting checks in the mail, go to the bank and deposit them. Such a waste of time...

jensen: wires aren't an option for affiliates who send small amounts of traffic to many sponsors.

You should use the sponsor that recently sent me a signed blank check! ;)

I've obviously been very lucky - cashed hundreds of cheques and only had one unpaid and that was one that the sponsor rectified immediately with no fuss.

I think I've only had 3 bounces in my 6-7 years in this industry... a couple from clickcash and one from globill (deposited it just before they went belly up). Are you using a heap of different sponsors or are you just having a run of bad luck?
