Nevada vs Wyoming vs Delaware LLCs?

My head is about to explode with all the info I have been reading.

Anyone have good or bad experiences with any of these?

bottom line is you will have to pay taxes in the state you reside in anyway. And possibly taxes in the state you registered your corp in. you will defintley have to pay registered agent fees, and have to file in that state as well. we are a deleware corp and basically it has no benefits whatsoever.

I agree in only very rare cases are their advantages to registering an LLC or incorporating in a state other than you live in. In most cases it will just mean double the paperwork, double the fees, and you will still end up paying your state?s taxes anyway.

Register in the state in which you do business -- ie., receive your money and where you bank. Everything King and Duke said is 100% correct.

Get an accountant at least, and a lawyer.

Thanks for the replies! Solid answers.

I don't live in the USA, so was not so concerned about a state that I would live in. Though it sounds I would get hit for the states I do business in.

            Duke,
Do you at least not have to pay taxes to Delaware?

Talk to a pro. Chances are you don't need to setup out of state.

If you register in Nevada there are privacy laws to protect you that other states don't offer, if that is attractive to you...

From what I've seen you'd have to pay a $200 franchise fee.

Nevada Corporate Headquarters explains some of this in their free e-book called Nevada Edge.

Delaware is what you should use.
