A
KAT investigation has uncovered the fact that many Adult Revenue Service (ARS) FHGs have traffic leaks. This was uncovered shortly after we wrote our December 31st post for Porn Star Catalog. For proof of concept, you can look at our post, click any link therein (they all lead to ARS) and scroll to the bottom of the page. The links are for signups to the webmaster program and are labeled ?Webmasters?. Obviously, if someone winds up signing up as a webmaster you ain?t gonna get the credit for sending it.
There are also other links that take users to areas like the Terms of Service or the 2257 compliance statement and have no clickable path back to the tour without use of the browser?s back button. But the most interesting one is the Customer Service link, which takes you to an entirely different site. On that site, there are so many places to go that your surfer will never get back to your tour. And one of those places that the surfer can go to? is a listing of all the ARS sites complete with links to get back to the tours? without the affiliate code.
The surfer hasn?t bought anything yet. They don?t need customer service. And the links to the 2257 compliance, Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy can be done in popup windows that are activated by OnClick. The leaks there are just a little bit insane and all of this tends to hurt affiliate earnings, so I think ARS needs to Kiss A Turd!
Can we get this fixed? Four traffic leaks per FHG is alot, don't you think?
