You are talkin my kinda music... and I am the anti Emo.

Zero 7 is easily the best Chill act of the 2000's. The first album is the best but the second one has some good music on it too.

Otherwise check out Massive Attack's new best of set http://www.massiveattack.co.uk/collected/.

If you want a never ending supply www.radiofreevirgin.com 's Liquid Lounge is absolutely the best online radio station with it. Much better than DI or any of the other online stations.

Also, www.quango.com has some great high quality audio feeds (when they work).

If you like Soulfly and the like check out the new Jazzanova remixes. There's some great stuff on there.
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

        Webair, bitches.

Oh yeah, speaking of the Gilberto family, Bebel Gilberto's new album is excellent!

Shoutcast is okay, but usually lacks any real soul.

http://www.mpegradio.com/DubStation/ is another good source that has been around since 1998.

My iTunes list (1.47MB) has a lot of unfamiliar chill artists on it, as well as all the usual suspects.

Definitely. Astrud is a must for any music lover. As is Antonio Carlos Jobim.

You cannot call yourself a fan of music without knowing thier music.

Bebel is her step daughter and although you can't really consider most of her stuff traditional Bossanova she updates the sound of Brazil perfectly IMHO. It's more of an electronic chill mix with bossa overtones. Perfect for Sunday mornings with a hot woman in the house.

www.pandora.com is also a great tool for finding new chill artists. Start with the artist you like and it gives you songs from artists in the same genre. It's a virtual jukebox with a little AI in it.

Just make sure you start with a group instead of an artist or else it tends to give you a ton of male or female artists depending on whether the artist you started with was male or female.

Still, it's a damn useful tool.

I started with Esthero as my base artist once and ended up with a ton of Kate Bush and Ani De'Franco. No offense to those that like them but that's not my kind of party.
