    I'm installed world of warcraft - what class?

    I want a combination of most fun to play and easy to get in groups.

    I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a druid or a mage. Actually i prefer the mage but the druid has improved movement speed which is also fucking nice with all the running around you do.

    Any input?

      Mage

      Strengths:

      1. The best magic damage dealer.
      2. One of the best range classes along with hunters.
      3. Good combat control with Polymorph.
      4. Can summon food and drink.
      5. A great choice for grouping.
      6. Strong solo class due to snares and massive damages.
      7. Can open up portals to go to major cities.
      8. The best area of effect damage dealer in the game by far.

      Weaknesses:

      1. Can only wear cloth.
      2. Not healers in battle.
      3. Major target for monsters due to high amount of damage.
      4. Most damage dealing spells are not instant.

      Druid

      Strengths:

      1. Able to take on the forms of different animals.
      2. Can root enemies in place.
      3. Very flexible.
      4. Can heal group members.
      5. Good solo class.
      6. Can tank if needed.
      7. Has different travel forms for faster traveling.

      Weaknesses:

      1. Cannot wear anything heavier than leather.
      2. Not great at any one thing.
      3. Unpredictable for groups.
      4. Switching between the different forms to heal (regular), tank (bear), or damage (cat) can be awkward and time consuming.
      5. Very difficult class to master.

          Rogue, sneak up on fuckers and stab em in the back.

          Most people have several "toons" they play, plus you'll need more than 1. Make some "bankers" to hold your shit for you, have different talents to make your other toons stuff, etc.

              I had an Undead Mage, I got him to I think level 47 or so before I stopped playing, and loved it. Once you hit level 20 you can port yourself to the major cities and at 40 can open portals for your entire group to portal to the cities. That was a HUGE time saver for me.

                  I say mage. Lots of fun. Great for arenas too. However, if you just want someone who is easy to get into groups, go with any sort of tank or healer (i.e. pally, druid, warrior, priest, even shammy). Won't be as fun to level though.

                      I was thinking about that as well. But do you think porting to the cities is a bigger timesaver than +40% run speed? I mean i realize you often run to cities but for quests and stuff you need to be all over the place. And a constant speed improvement is pretty nice.

                              I played this game once and was brought to a magic forest where the group who induce me go with them rape, kill and stole all my belongings.

                              P.S raping in any other game other than gears looks stupid.

                              I love all you hardcore gow players who stayed on gow during h3 and cod4 but gradually went off to play cod4 after every other hour.. You are are the best.

                                  Nah the porting is better. Besides, you get a mount at 40 anyway, so the 40% run speed won't matter much then. Leveling is pretty quick ever since the last patch when Blizz started giving more points for quests and requiring less points per level.

                                                  I'd start with a warlock or a rogue. Both can be a real pain in the ass to kill. Mages are kind of glass cannons.

                                                              Shaman is nice. Getting +40% speed at level 20 is ace and levelling (enhancement is probably the best) shouldn't be hard as it was after tons of patches.

                                                              Elemental shaman rocks at pvp if you can learn how to play. Arena wise it is not the favorite class at 2vs2, it can do good enough at 3vs3, it definitely can shine at any 5vs5) except the times when a rogue appears behind of you and keep you stunned 90% of the time. With nice gear elemental shamans can do pretty good at pve too. After ~200 played days I am still getting fun from it.

                                                              If you want infinite solo fun (farming, levelling, etc) and exceptional pve performance as damage dealer go for warlock.

                                                                                          If you want to do lots of damage and be on top of the damage charts... mage... but down the road you'll get passed by priests.

                                                                                              Me and 2 other buddies been playing druid, and 2 rogues, been pretty so far although we havn't tried pve. We can kill lvl 20 stuff at lvl 20 which give us crazy xp anad good items.

                                                                                                                  Most BORING game ever until you get level 70 which will take you 3months+ if its your first character, then at 70 its not even that fun tbh. I always quit for about a year then wanna play again, i play for 3 months then sell my char always. Some people love it but to be honest I don't think its worth your time AT ALL. If you play it i suggest botting to level, search for mmoglider.

So the European WOW site has a password retrieval option but no account name option. Annoying. The American site does have it but that's of no use to me.

                                                                                                                                                                                          I played it on the free trial and it was so boring. I spent hours and hours running through fields, aimlessly. I never finished my 10 day trial, I lasted 4 days and had no interest in ever playing again.
