Well, let me educate you a bit, if I am able since I have some fine wine in me already, Czech was since 1526 a part of the Austrian - Ungarian empire, the official language was GERMAN.

Now the beer was brewed here even before US was even founded, the Budweiser is the original brand.

If anyone started to brew Budweiser in US- that's allright but they used the brand that was existing already. Once there started the trademarks or whatever in vogue, it was a mess.

Now there are many lawsuits going on for years, Budweiser is legitimately Czech in most of the European countries, Amheiser Busch is confirmed in US and a couple of other countries.

It's no America discovered that you stated it's two different beers - THANKS GOD it is, cause the Czech one is way better
