LOL I just quoted myself !!!Perhaps one major factor is religion. If you consider the amount of people who belong to religious groups and clan together as to enforce social policies and claim that both church and state are separate, but hide the fact that it's influence is just the same on the social system... such people are considered to be fanatical in nature; not to say that all religious types are extreme and dangerous.
The two biggest religions are: Christian & Islamic
Sometime I wounder if Christianity was created to stop the spread of the Islam as to create more peaceful social structures... and to balance out the early world as to get away from clan/religious warfare mindset.
So I think it is reasonable and plossible when it comes to US foreign policies to conclude that difference in religious values seem to drive semi-political/religous social agendas world wide and that is whats going on in the mid east and is just more noticeable...
So to answer your question why does everyone hate the US well perhaps its just that the tolerances are different.
Perhaps the US just has more cute girls?

Well it's definitely another issue, the way anyone can parasit from the US law system is incredible, it's been said 3 - 5 pct. of the GDB of the US is spent on the public law issues, and about 50 pct. of the world's public law lawyers made their buck in US, but again you have to be a bit educated to know this..
But again - on the other hand, there is no other country where you can solve your claims / sues in such a fast fashion as in the US.
The continental system is maybe more sophisticated, not that relying on the feelings and showtime, but defininitely more rigid and some cases will inevitably take years to come to a conlusion...

Im sorry to say but it is very true what you are saying about some ways of the English culture. They do it over here and think it is funny. Unfortunatly our laws over here have degenirated to nothing and I have never seen so much disrespect for other people property than what I see over here in the UK now. Our English culture and ways and especially with the younger generation have just gone to peices. Guns and knife attacks are out of control over here and the whole country has gone to shit.White trash is something that you'll find in every country of the world, unfortunately, some of the western white trash, especially from UK, lately regularly enjoys Prague...
You can hardly walk around the center over the weekends after midnight not to hear degenerated taunts and sounds of pissing and womiting on every other corner..
I was kind of amazed - last time I seen one English dude sticking a finger his throat and trying to puke on the others - frankly, I have never seen such an intense display of dementia and degeneration..

Well, having probably the least competent president in the history sure doesn't help too. There sure was enough interests to elect him though.
As I tried to explain, not that regular Joe's would know or care too much about politics, the ignorancy and idiocracy is on the rise globally BUT.
They SURE have one word in mind whenever George Bush Jr. appears - that beeing STUPID.
George is a very "simple" target and it's a shame for United States that their president is labeled all around the world as an ignorant and a "low IQ" person.
Having said that, this also inevitably lowers the profile of the average US
citizen, it's shame but it's true.

although that point surely has some merit, i doubt thats true. the US has been one of the worlds most litigious nations on earth for the better part of a century. everyone here who is not a peasant or an ambulance chasing attorney understands the needs for Torte Reform. it has happened to a small extent but the problem always ends up being the same... everyone argues against making the guy who started the lawsuit liable for legal fees should he lose because of those rare circumstances where it all might be legit... and so on and so forth. its like arguing with environmentalists or PETA or something... since there is no perfect solution, we can't have any solution... and in the meantime, everyone suffers.. no matter how obvious it is that something needs to be done.
the legal system here is one of the biggest jokes of the free world. your rights are all perfectly protected until someone with more money than you decides to just use that system that protects rights and property to just bankrupt you because they have more money and can afford to.Comment

All good points, pretty much spot-on..... but I still stand by my point that in the past 20 years or so the problem has worsened in part due to the air of political correctness going on, in the entire world for that matter but especially so in the US.
Why, Americans on this very board have as much as said so in several threads if memory serves.
I'm just saying, along with everything you're saying I strongly believe that people are more quick to jump to the lawsuit over even the least perceived slight now more than ever. Weren't native Americans up in arms a few years ago over the names of certain pro sports teams being "disrespectful" to them?... the Atlanta Braves comes to mind, the Washington Redskins, etc. I'm sure there was a flap about that, all to do with today's air of political correctness, and there are thousands of other examples of people or groups suing over what they see as descrimination.

yeah, i can agree with that i guess.... forgot about all that crap like mascots.
There was another one recently where a school was being sued because the mascotts name "Porkchop" was offensive even though the school mascott was a hog. some hispanic group said it was offensive.
people here are fucking retards. "freedom" means that ultimately things will settle with the lowest common denominator. that has a lot to do with why the public school system is so fucked. everything gets dumbed down so the lowest common denominator can feel good about themselves. some schools stop keeping score with sports... god forbid someone "loses" and has to live with the stigma of losing a game or get a taste of what its like in real life in the real world.
i think a lot of this crap comes from what is sort of a muttled or totally absent cultural identity. people recite so many cliches about freedom, "the american dream" etc because otherwise, they have no clue who they are. i think you don't have this so much in other countries that are older and have a rich and unique cultural history and identity. so its easy for people to constantly push and redefine ideas according to their own whims... wheras, in Sweden or Russia or almost anywhere else for example, it wouldn't happen to a such an extreme degree.
i wear this shirt all the time when i play racquetball - a lot of woman get really upset and bitch at me... thats when i shine.

Well States basically started from the scratch, it always was a mixture of all different nationalities whereas the stronger dogs fucked the most..

Basically you have to create something people can stick to, as i realized - the whole history lessons how they are taught in the States are also very much patriotically biased.
Let's take as example the very much spread opinion that "it was US who won the world war II" for example - yes they did - but in Pacific only, slaughtering Japanese forces with the 1:22 ratio with their bombing apocalypse.
Measured from the mere armed viewpoint US invasion on Sicily was some of the worst displays of how to lead a war in similar environment, Kesselring was able to keep them the front in Italy till 45 only with what has left there. Remember Monte Casino?
The contribution to the invasion to Normandy proved to be also succesfull mainly due to the total exhaustion of fuel and goods on the German side. But the personalities such as George Patton are till today incredibly overestimated.
That is no disrespect to the soldiers that died in Europe beeing a part of the allied forces, but a historical fact that can be confirmed by any unbiased world war II historician. US had in fact way more an economical then physical impact on why the Allied forces won and earned also incredible revenue from the war, then they reinvested that back (thanks to that).
