    Any recommendations in the LA area? What is a standard cost?

      Something Im seriously looking into in the near future...

      Im not there nor can I advise you of anyone good... but here is what i have gathered...

      if youre looking for a deluxe package such as professional photographer, videoographer, scrapbook photo album, dvd of the footage... with nice covers n all... can run you 3-5k

      just photography with a nice output of photos either dvd or album can be as low as 1k...


      LA i can only assume there are inflated costs...

          We are going to see a guy tomorrow. Guess his package includes 350 5x7's, 8 hours of shooting, and a CD with all the pics on it all within 10 days for $1,800.

                  I shot a wedding for a friend back in February in the Marina, and as I was leaving her idiot new husband thanked me for saving him five grand... so I guess around $5k is the going rate.
