    How do you tell someone that you are who they think you are?

    setup:
    You bump into someone you sort of know, like from your building/street or the supermarket or something. You say hi, just being friendly, and they begin talking to you like you are a close friend. They mention a few names you don't know and you suddenly realize they think you are someone else...Do you just try to get going and forget it? or do you say something? This happened to me recently, I just said i was in a rush and got the hell out of there lol what do you say? excuse me but I don't know what the fuck you are talking about?

                      Depending on the mood I'm in I might play with them a little.

                      Perhaps I would say, 'oh yeah, (name_they_mentioned) I heard that person never really liked you. Ever since, you know, well...you know...'

                      And then I would just walk away.


                      And honestly, on the right day, this IS something I would do.

                              You should ask to borrow some money. When they don't get it back, they'll just tell friends that "so and so" still owes them money and the other guy will deal with it.
