    Yellow teeth from coffee/tea + brushing question

    So I got my teeth whitened last month and haven't had coffee since but been drinking tea providing its at home where i can brush after. Is it ok to drink coffee and tea providing I can brush my teeth right after or can it still cause your teeth to turn yellow?

    This is a dental forum right?

              drink tea or coffee with a straw, I know it sounds funny but it helps, my cousin's wife does it in public too, a tourist tried to take a picture once but I gave him a mean look and he got scared (he's probably still scared coz I'm tuff n shit)

                      I drink a lot of tea and coffee but my teeth aren't stained. I found when i smoked that my teeth were staining quite badly but since giving up its mostly gone. You do need to brush both sides but I only brush twice a day and i'm happy with my teesh

                                              Probably not. My dentist told me to rinse out the mouth before though, to avoid just scrubbing residue/acid further in between your teeth.
                                              I switched from regular tea/coffee/cola to green tea, that did the trick for me. Oh and it supposedly kills the bacteria that turns into plaque and bad breath too.

                                                          I drink nothing but tea and I I just had my teeth professionally whitened at the dentist and they told me not to drink tea for a week, so I used the straw method. It got annoying though after a week so now I am back to drinking normally and just brushing my teeth afterwards.
