In the fashion modelling and straight entertainment arena the rules are different. With so many girls looking for so few jobs the casting couch is not a myth. Girls have to decide whether they go with it or not, if the answer is no the odds on them having a long career are far shorter. Common sense would tell you that.
Yes the casting couch exists in this industry, but to a lesser degree. More often we sleep with girls because of our personalities, the situation and not force. Sitting behind a computer you might find that hard to understand and of course you need to bolster your view of the people who you rely on for a living.
Yes I slept with models and even girls who came for a casting, I'm married to one of them. Did I sexually assault them? Never had to.
