for example, myspacegirls.com it says $178,000 price and 4 bids with "Offer" as the option.... I could offer $5 and it counts as a bid, the owner of the domain can then send me a counteroffer and ask $177,995.... and so on

so it says '4 bids', but those 4 bids could be for under $20 for all we know

the $178,000 price put up for those 'Offer' domains is just a number, put up by the guy that listed the domain


I've seen domains sell for $5 there, and the very next day the guy that bought it has it listed for $5000
