          I don't know... emphasize it? I always capitalise (PIC), but with no appearant reason.

                                                  exactly, and people have an easier time seeing all caps as they're scrolling through the myriad of threads found on GFY - it's a good way to make your thread stand out

                                                  well unless everyone posts their threads in all caps, then you have to go lowercase to stand out
