Typically though minimum of 10k

I rarely switch sponsors.. no matter how badly they perform. I might concentrate my efforts on stuff that works, but I still send hits to shit I haven't made a sale in ages.. or convert like 1:15000
I'm just too lazy to go thru old galleries and whatnot and change linking codes.
..and yeah, I know how I could have avoided this, but I didn't. so stfu.

Well those three sponsors are all on my blog and i was wondering how long to try each before putting something else in the place a non converting sponsor.

way I have been doing it is a week long of submits. 7 galleries to a site. If it doesn't convert how I like I drop the site and move onto a new one.

Contact the sponsors and see if they have any suggestions for you (better converting tour or better type of promotion)... if you still cant convert with them, then move on to another program (like FreakBucks)

As long as your promotions are on par with what you believe pre sell the sponsor in question, I think a month is long enough, especially if you are getting steady traffic...and, your traffic is productive traffic.

If one of the sponsors has 300 tours and your 3000 hits is sent to various sites, it's useless information so far.

If it's to 1 niche site that matches your own site well, then 3000 is 1/4th the way to some usefull data I'd say too.

I say that because I've had affiliates contact me saying basically "I have sent you 4000 hits and gotten only 1 sale, whats wrong???".

I check their account and see them promoting 100 sites and only 1 site has more than 100 clicks and the 1 sale is actually a nice damn ratio for that tour, lol.

Great post VIPimp!

I highly suggest contacting the sponsor for suggestions! I give updated stats in our webmaster admin panel of our top converting picture and video galleries to help people out. But i would hope if someone is having a hard time with our sites they would ask for advice. People would be surprised what little changes can double conversions.

I've had that as well, 0:5,000 for a free signup. I think most people are wary of "free" on the internet. Been screwed too many times.

It's hard for me to know what sponsor to go with because it's a blog and it's naked celebrities. I have tried the sponsors that have naked celebrity pictures and movies and all in total its been 0:12,000 and I theorize why would they join a pay site to see naked celebs when they are looking at them free on my site.
