I never liked AT&T's service and didn't buy the iPhone BECAUSE OF THAT, however - I just got the iPhone for Xmas from my wife and have until Jan 8, 08 to return it for a refund if I'm not satisfied ... what's YOUR issue with AT&T?

since the cnahgeover from cingular all sorts of weird shit.... today all of NY and Nothern Jersey was out , i couldnt make outside calls for few hours...
reminds me of few years ago when they were ATT all sorts of issues and shit... from drpped callls , to shitty echos on the phones and alot of minute stuffComment

Either way, it won't be my main phone. Right now I have the Treo on Verizon as a secondary phone for email and internet. I only actually use the phone it self to make calls as a backup when I'm in a shitty reception area with my Nextel phone.
If I find the iPhone IS all it's been cracked up to be, I'll kill the Verizon account ... if not - I'll just return the iPhone.
Having 3 cell phones would be nuts I think

Truth is I've only dropped a few calls in 2 years on Verizon's network and that includes LA, SF, SD, NY, LV, MIA and other places I've traveled here in the US.
If iPhones were available on Verizon, I would have picked one up months ago and wouldn't consider even leaving them.
The fact is that I don't need 3 cell phones though and *IF* the iPhone works out to be a decent back up phone (service wise) and it's functional as a productivity tool with all my contacts, emails, etc ... plus the bonus as a media player ... well, then sayonara Verizon ... I'm done - FOR NOW ... BUT if in a year and a half Verizon HAS the iPhone available on their network and AT&T turns out to be a pain in the ass after the fact ... I'LL BE BACK

I pay $200 a month for my families service. So when I had to switch once I laughed at the guy when he told me it would cost $200.
