I'm torn on this issue. On one hand, this is not an issue that should be swept under the rug. It's simply unacceptable to have affiliate data be mined that way, and even more unacceptable that this issue was known for awhile. It deserves coverage and people deserved to be called out on it.
But the more mainstream coverage this gets, the worse off for the industry it is. I know minusonebit isn't really in the industry so this stuff doesn't affect him. But the more this gets out, the worse off conversions will be. I guess what I'm saying is that this should be big industry news, but hurts us all the more mainstream it gets. It's sad that people want to hurt the industry so bad.
