Also, I will be making generalisations in this post. Don't go into nitpicking that not everbody is like that. I realise that.
One thing puzzles me: American society seems to hang on lawsuits for some reason. It's almost a part of life it seems.
How many times haven't we seen people getting sued over the most
ridiculous bullcrap.
How many times haven't we seen people post on here things like: "Sue the bastard". Hell..every NATS-thread has at least one "I'll sue you" post in there.
The thing is: this whole sue-ing business supports on the constitutional rights Americans have. And if there's one thing the Americans are full of, it's talking/bragging about the constitution.
So,taking this back to Minusonebit, it puzzles me why everybody is so biased in this case. Okay, it doesn't realy puzzle me as I can understand.
But his basic right is to start a lawsuit. If this would have been about downloading MP3's you'd hear everbody say: Go for it.
He has a right to start a lawsuit, maybe with merit, maybe not. Time will tell.

Yes, he's deliberatly sabotaging the industry's reputation among the public, wich is already in a bad state.
I agree that there are lots of questions to be answered from John as why there wasn't anything done sooner, but this has to STAY in the industry.
