JEALOUSY - not in most cases. but I am sure there are jealous folk out there.
ATTITUDE - Yes. First off the fact we call ourselves "Americans" and by doing so indicate that all Americans are from the United States bothers the shit out of our neighbors to the north, south.
WEALTH - Oh we're consuming capitalist gluttons. We take and consume and give back very little.

We are not the world police. But whats worse though is that we usually meddle in shit that helps us out at the end of the day. There are genocides around the world any day of the week - Somalia? Nepal? Liberia? Why aren't we involved in the invasion of those arbitrary governments? Probably because we won't have shit to gain. yet we involve ourselves in the 'liberation' of the iraqi people (and their 10% of the worlds oil) and the occupation of the Afghan people (and their 90% production of the worlds hashish/poppy seeds).
We are arrogant, yes.
Bush is a dick, yes.
