I get he same lines here, and I can assure you that they are NOT making even half that on a daily basis, or even monthly. Thye all claim they make, whatever their highest day ever was. Sure, the sun might shine on the dog's ass once in a while. But there is no way in hell around here that they are making that much.
But they all use that line foo. They are making $100 an hour, or whatever.
I tell them, "This is not a negotiation, and I am not a John. This is what we pay, and this is the work we pay for. You're in, or out."
