I could almost agree with this / I did read biographies of Himmler / Heydrich / letters of Hitler's secretary seen all the document's about the Hitler's men that were made by Germans (very important point), read about the most important generals / Hitler's plans of invading the Europe etc. and generally interest myself about the third Reich and world war two as it always was fascinating for me:
What for a personality does it take to gain a total control about one nation?
How can you - in the 20 th century in a very very short timeframe make a country able to compete for the world domination and fight with the rest of the world?
There is no doubt Germany would win on the eastern front if Hitler would not make such a critical mistakes (Kursk / Stalingrad) and he could also compete for way longer time on the western front if they haven't lost some of their best legions in the East.
Remember Italy 1943 - 1945? Remember Monte Casino?
