The tgp2 thread: To save me some time on icq msg´s.
This network are to be build to increase the amount of tgp2 style sites out there to trade with.
IMPORTANT! To be a part of this network you NEED to build your own network. This is not for freeloaders who just want to submit galleries to sites that allready worked hard for their traffic.
You build your sites, you host your own galleries. You get to trade with other in the network and gain traffic and ranking that way.
What does it take from you?
1. Register 5-10 domains. All in different niches.
(One are to be a mixed niche)
You also need one domain for promotional of your complete network for other webmasters to see your trade pages.
2. Get a free trading script for all your sites. (Agw trade for example) http://www.awgtrade.com/
The trade script are only used to add trades to the page and you will not track your outlinks trough it. All trades are hardlink trades.
You only use the trade script to save you time.
3. A gallery managing system for all sites trough one admin.
(We are building one right now for you to use for free later on)
(Will only be accessable trough my forum)
Start by making 2 site templates.
One for a niche domain of your choise and one for the mixed niche domain.
Make sure not to use that many thumbs on the tgps. Use alot of text. Make good descriptions for sponsors and make it load fast!
Keep it fairly clean but leave space for trades.
When you have the first site up build a "trade traffic" page where you list all your sites. Its better to be able to send people who want to trade to one page to view all your sites then have to visit each and every single one of them.
Write small descriptions about each site..what niche and how much traffic and are you trading or not with them and so on.
GALLERY BUILDING!
Ok now we move on to the gallery building. This is whats take time.
Start by adding galleries to the niche site you built.
All galleries in that niche are to be on that sertain domain.
I would say you need at least 500 galleries on that domain to get the site up and running on a good rate.
Myself will have 23X3 sets of galleries listed so 66 galleries will be listed daily.
After you have 500 galleries built you move on to the next niche site.
Do the same there and keep on going.
The gallery managment system will update your pages daily so you build them and forget about them exept maby add a trade or 2 a week as you find them.
GALLERY LAYOUT.
Mainpage of gallery are 5 thumbs leading to html page with big picture on it.
about 400 pxls on the longest side.
You can put up to 3 sponsor links on the main page. And 2 links on the image page and also link the big picture to the sponsor itself.
1) use alt tags on the images
2) the 3 links to sponsors on the main page is limiting - I actually use around 10 sometimes :-P because I'll push that sponsor, have a link to hub page and maybe some other options (ie: a table of links other sites from that sponsor).
3) Movie Galleries - 1 OR 2 movie, no more than 20 seconds each (10 preferably) and the movies should be embedded in html pages w/ somesort of banner or text on that page clickable to the sponsor.
4) For "pool" type galleries, NO recips. And if you do use recips on galleries submitted to various other sites, just simple text links, none of this bullshit 100x200 banners and html boxes. Recips should be for PR purposes, NOT sucking traffic from the gallery.
Do not use alot of graphics! Use more text!
Use maby one banner on each page..not more.
Make sure to add head tags to all galleries so you wont miss out on SE traffic.
I promise you when the spiders come they will love your site
This is just a small tutorial to save me some time answering the same questions over and over again on icq.
It taking me to much time at the moment but I dont want to be ignorant to you who contact me on icq.
In a week or 2 I will be more into talking maby when I have the first sites up. But now it´s work work work!!!
