have you heard any of her interviews? granted, most of these athletes are self-centered and all that, but she was WAY over the top...it was quite nauseating...
I liked her post-skate interview. She has some wisdom for being young.
In her interview she said she didnt watch the others skate because the only person she can control is herself. There are millions of so-called adults that never grasp that simple concept and worry about what everyone else might be doing or thinking.
In her piece before she skated she said about training and her coaching changes that if you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten. Nothin wrong with that either, good stuff.
it's nice that you took such a positive message from the interview, but her coach was scared of her...they asked him how he dealt with her personality and he said something like, "carefully"
haha...superdivabitch
Sasha didn't replace Michelle - she was the 2006 US Champion.

I was sure they said she was the replacement ... I could be wrong, but then which skater was? (Then again, why do I care!)
As for being a "superdivabitch", that's perfectly fine - a Jewish/Ukrainian combination is pretty lethal - she's still incredibly cute, so i'm sure she can get away with it.
he WAS her coach early in her career...then she fired / hired several other coaches but her "winning personality" drove them all off, so she's back w/ the original punching bag...
wait, kwan was #1, now cohen is #1...doesn't that mean cohen replaced kwan? 'splain please
Cohen won the 2006 US Championship and was going to skate at the Olympics regardless of Kwan's status. She may have replaced her as #1, but she didn't get on the team due to Michelle's withdrawl.

Good explanation, thanks.
I originally thought she took her spot literally - but the announcers must have been referring to Hughes ... so I was quite shocked to think a replacement (Cohen) was leading the competition at the time I saw it.
