I just wrote a few short poems.... (warning, sad)

I just did these and I'm going to add them to a few different framed picture collages for my sons family members. This is my first Holiday without my angel.

He disappeared from our lives exactly 7 months ago today.... along with part of my soul. RIP, my pride and joy, my son, my best friend....

Let me know what you think of these.... It was pretty rough doing these so I hope they are delicate and appropriate enough to frame with some assorted pics of him as Xmas gifts.

For his Grandma and Papa:
I'm in the very air you breathe, in rain, in snow, and the sun... You'll hear my laughter in the wind, somewhere I'm having fun. I don't want you to worry, I'm not in any pain. I'll always have you in my heart until we meet again...

For his 12 yr old cousin:
I'm always there to cheer you on, I'm never far away. Thanks for all the thoughts of me and honoring my name. I watched you hit that home run ball. It makes my spirit proud. And if you ever need a friend, just whisper to the clouds...

For his 10 year old sister:
The gentle tickle on your arm, the soft breeze on your cheek. I know that when you think of me, your heart gets sad and weak. I love you now and loved you then, don' sit and wonder why. Just close your eyes and feel my love and reach up to the sky...

For a best friend:
Whenever you are sad and blue, just think of me and know, that I will be there with you wherever you may go. Throughout the years you were always here. You've been the greatest friend. My spirit will protect you and stand by you till the end...

For his 9 year old cousin:
I want you to remember me with laughter and a grin. You wrote that T upon your hat and helped the team to win. Thank you for that honor, Cam, you really made my day. I'll always be beside you as you learn, and grow, and play...

For another best friend:
The best friend there could ever be, I always knew you were there for me. When you're sad and feeling blue. Just say my name. I'm there for you. Shed no tears for my soul is at rest, just stand up tall and live life to its best...

May peace be with all of you this season and especially for those of you who have experienced tragedy or loss this year. I know how debilitating it can be and how painful the constant Christmas rammed down our throats can be...

I miss you guys! Cherish every moment with your families this year... and every year the best that you can. Life is short... and unpredictable.
