    Party Poker is fucking gay:

i lost 3 times straight with KK, once a guy had A9 the flop was 886, i bet through, he chased it (no idea why) and caught a straight.

other times twice i lost the 55 and 88 whent hey both caught sets on the flop.

can i charge back this money? i am tired of playing against bots.

ALOT of bots on party poker.

I would take your money elsewhere if you insist on playing online.

and good luck with the chargeback, let me know if it actualy works out! that way I will charge back the 5k or so I lost on that site throughout time!

i wonder if anyone has successfully charged it back, i wonder what the credit card companies response would be when you tell them "i want to charge back my credit card, i was playing against bots"?

they would have no idea what you are talking about
it would be very hard for you to prove even if they do understand
they would be anal about refunding the money even if you were able to prove and they understood what you were talking about

Honestly, I really wont even play poker online anymore. I've found that people play completly different online than they would in a card room. Just like you lost, you'll see people chasing shitty hands and catching them. I think this may have to do with the fact that theyre not physically holding the chips but just clicking a button.

Generally speaking I think it's what poker site you choose to go with and the stakes you are playing for, the higher the stakes, the tighter the play gets.

But if you have pocket kings and you raised a good amount pre-flop and only one person calls, chances are that person has face cards (or in this case A9). If I had KK and with one caller and the flop was 886 I would be planning to take down the pot and bet high enough to make sure it was mine. The only things that can beat you, depending on the suits are AA or an 8.
