    Question: Does the term 'ebony' describe..

    A black male? I don't think I've ever heard of an 'ebony man' - but I'm not sure if it's just because I don't work with that kind of stuff.

    So I just got to thinking, that maybe it's just used to describe a black female, and the men are just a 'black' or 'chocolate lover' (I've definately seen that)

    i'm all confuzzled.

          Theres Ebony wood which is dark or it can just refer to dark or black.
          As far as lingo yeah I never heard of a Brotha being refered to as "Hey that Ebony Man..(fill in blank)"

                  Agree with you man. "Ebony" can be used to represent black/dark but I never heard "ebony" bein used to describe a man yet.

                              Ebony might be used in Black gay porn but I have never sent one click of it so I wouldn't know.
