I like the Billion dollar lady from China.
She was a simple wife and decided to make a name for herself. She noticed China needed more raw materials and people were willing to pay more for them than they were the labor. So she looked at the US and noticed people had a shitload of raw materials piling up from recycling trash.
She put one foot in front of the other and got enough money together to have a ship in LA that was returning to Hong Kong to grab those materials before leaving the US. Dropped them off in China. Made a nice chunk of change and rinse and repeated until she was a billionaire.
