Turn off comments, for a start.
Or, in WordPress, you can set the options to email you whenever someone posts a comment. Then it's one click from your email to delete the comment.

I've had a damn Rolex spammer repeatedly comment on my site. I've deleted every one within 24 hours and he's finally given up.

Want to know the funniest part of it? My lez blog has been getting tons of links from some asshole throwing up shit like newspapers(RogerEbertMovieReviewsWhatDoesTheFatFuc kerKnow.com & nytimes.com), TV (cnn.com), and movie sites. All stupid shit. My anal blog started getting casino and online drug company spam (which I can see someone making money from).

Comments belong to blogs. Just install a captcha plugin, or a spam database link...or just moderate. I know it takes time....but that is just part of blogging!!
