People have been complaining about Guba since day one, before they did these other things. Even if they didn't do them, people would still be complaining. It has nothing to do with ethics or morals. Companies are pissed because they're not the ones making the money. If they felt they could get away with it, they would do the same thing. In fact, some used to have newsgroup access from inside the pay sites. When the heat was on, they took it out. Guba on the other hand is willing to take the heat. All those ISPs provide access but don't charge a separate fee for it. GUBA charges access to otherwise free content and then scummy webmasters earn money from it by promoting it.
The last time one of the "top" affiliates of GUBA was bragging about being in the top 3, they claimed they were making up to $400 a week. Whoopee dee doo. Many of us can do that in a day or less by selling access to legitimate content. You get what, $7 a signup and then $7 per rebill? WOO HOO! With my best revshare sponsor I get more than twice that and gee, it's all legitimate content they own and have the right to sell access to (yeah, it's not grammatically correct, sue me).
