Let me tell you, I would much rather take the discipline meted out by my teachers than have them rat me out to my dad.
I have a pretty good story about getting caught smoking at a school function. If I had not put up a great argument of how I was not at a school function (because I was rooting for the other team) I would have been suspended.
I can assure you, the suspension would have been the least of my worries.
