im paying $50.00 per 25 GB on a dedicated server and my monthly bill is close to $1200/mth and the server goes down maybe once/year.Does this sound fair or should i shop around for better prices.

No, this does not sound fair. Yes, you should be shopping around. In fact, I havent seen prices this high for quite some time. You could probably print out the listings from a webhost directory, tack them to the wall, throw a dart and come up with a price that is at least half of what you are paying now.Originally posted by bogoComment

Yes, exactly. My host has an outage every three months or so and they are overdue for thier "quarterly fuckup" by about four months now and I pay more than ten times less than he does and I get about ten times more bandwidth.
