I think "organic" SEO is the wrong term, you're better of differentiating between white/grey/black hat. To me "organic" means traffic from the SERPs rather than PPC, no matter how you built the site. And a large white hat site will still probably have a strong automation aspect to get the volume you need... and if you're clever you can generate text that's as readable as human written text, but has more variety and keywords.
