I agree with you there.
I watched Bill Cosby on meet the press awhile back and he was talking about alot of that stuff. The cultural problems in the black community, where if a 12 year old black kid is studying his friends say "man, why you acting white?" or 13 year old black girls wanting to have a baby so they can "have something that loves me"
Now, I may catch hell for saying this...and I definitely think race or gender should
NOT be a factor in who you vote for, BUT, imagine how great if would be for the black community if kids were looking up to Obama instead of some gangsta rap star or Michael Vick.
If instead of wanting to grow up to be a gangster they want to grow up to be president.
I'm not saying that's why anyone should vote for a candidate, but I think it would be one hell of a positive tertiary effect.
