Alexa 10k? I think clipshare does fine until about 50k+ uniques a day

I do not get it. Alexa 10k site launched in the last 2 months running fine on clipshare but everyone here posts how bad it is.

. To be honest i havent seen any threads about it so i am not informed on the subject, but the mere fact many people are bitching about it must tell you its not just coincidence

Many times with scripts like this the exploit may be in the version of software the SERVER is using coupled with a hole in the software. so many people with certain version of say php will be affected while others won't have a problem.

Kinda like having a new alarm with an old lock. true its not the new alarms fault thew old lock is easily broken. but the alarm company also has some responsibility to tell the consumer that the new alarm is useless if you have an old lock.

yes alexa 10k. Some even lower but over time. Must be on load balanced setup for the traffic they do

Clipshare sux!! Tons of exploits! You want me to tell you how they recommend we lock down the admin? Use a .htaccess file and deny access to the admin and rename the admin to something besides siteadmin.php so that no one will know what to look for when hacking it.

dougeetx, htaccess files are always good to use. I use them on all my admin controls. Its that extra bit of security.

why don't you read up on the internet and then you'll find out about all the horror stories of people who used the script.
