It's not one or the other but generally speaking, there is probably a higher percentage of married couples who are "happier" than single people. Why? Because they have dual income or the potential for it, which is security. They have companionship. They have a sex partner that's always present.

These are generalizations and thus are not always true. There are many reasons why people do not want to be in relationsihps and many relationships dissolve. But if I was a betting man, I'd say there are more "happier" people who are married than who are not.

You know it's just in vogue, it's a trend - all those shiny smiling couples from the family adverts, all those TV series full of nice looking in shape people who solve relationships - but of course it's all a bullshit.

66 pct. of marriages around here are divorced, and I doubt the rest of the 33 pct. is superhappy - that just tells a thing.

It's just they are trying to tell you that beeing single is not ok, and that they have "the relationship". "You are single, there it must be something wrong with you, how come you are single? It's nothing good in beeing single - I am dating a male and we call each other hunny."

Many people in existing relationships are in many cases also already usually too old, too fat or too boring so they are too afraid of beeing single again.

Well I never experienced any kind of non sexual relationship that would be worth the time, but do I love women
