Look at the bright side:
Jimmy Johnson in 1989 with the Cowboys went 1?15.
In 92 and 93 won the Superbowl
Yeah, we were so impressed with that, that we hired Johnson to coach the dolphins.....and then when he left we let his best friend coach the team for a few years.

You are reffering to Wannstedt...
Being a Skins fan Norv Turner took his shot at coaching them, looks like he's doing the same bang up job at SD.

Arguing with a troll is a lot like wrestling in the mud with a pig, after a couple of hours you realize the pig likes it.

I'm really hoping for one scenerio this season. I want the pats to go undefeated, and the dolphins to go winless. This way, their perfect season is not that impressive as they played fewer games. The even better part is that they would then have the worst season on record. Nobody else has gone 0-16, which would just be beautiful. And no I'm not pats fan, I just hate the dolphins.
Last team the Dolphins beat were the Pats. Dolphins play them after the Ravens. Dolphins will beat the Pats in a stunning upset thus securing the Dolphins '72 perfect season AND keep them from having a winless season.

Yeah the Jimmy Johnson coaching tree is littered with failures like those two and Chan Gailey.
Turns out JJ wasn't really a great "coach" and didn't really have a "system" the way Bill Walsh and Mike Holmgren did, he was just a great evaluator of talent.
None of his disciples have been able to have the same kind of success as him in the draft.

The pats having a perfect season would be more impressive than the one the dolphins had even if there weren't more games.
It's much harder to have a team this dominant in the era of the salary cap.
Don't worry fins fans, the Ravens are coming and they will probably lose to the Dolphins (and although I am a huge Ravens fan, I think they've already clocked out for the year).
